Dental check-ups - how often?
Many people only think about booking a dental check-up when they are in some kind of dental discomfort.
At that point, however, it is already too late as pain is a sign that something needs treatment.
Instead, make it a practice to visit the dentist for routine check-ups before anything bad can happen. This way, you will have the chance to prevent potential issues before they cause inconvenient disruptions to your life and finances.
We recommend that you aim to have a dental check-up at least once per year, but twice per year would be ideal. Some patients need to visit the dentist even more frequently to manage problems such as gum disease or tooth decay.
