Red vein treatment
Treat spider veins and patches of red thread veins with IPL (intense pulsed light) or Nd:YAG laser therapy.
In this non-invasive procedure, your laser therapist will apply a gel to your skin and then expose the target area to an IPL device which emits carefully measured pulses of intense light energy. Alternatively, we also use the Nd:YAG laser which gently directs laser heat into unwanted veins.
This painless process causes the small unsightly veins to dry up and disappear from inside your body. Depending on the size and tenacity of the treatment area, you may need anywhere from one to five treatment sessions of about 30 minutes each.
There is no need for a ‘recovery period’ aftertreatment for red veins, so you can carry on with your normal daily activities following each treatment session.
